This was truly an awesome experience, from the time Will arrived to do the estimate, to completion of the job a little more than a week later. Will gave us great insight as to the foundation and build of our home. We were having issues with a back patio and front steps that were added to the property post build and had sunk quite a bitt.

My experience with the TerraFirma Company and their employees was just outstanding. They were polite, timely, took time to explain to me what they were doing and why. When they were finished, they explained everything that they had done and the results. Then they cleaned up my yard and you couldn't even tell they had been there. A big Thank You to Taylor, Lewis, and Brent and the two gentlemen that I can't remember their names. Also, the support staff at the office did a very good job of keeping me informed of the process of the necessary permits. I highly recommend this company.

Living on the coast and sand moves with the rain at times. bought 8 yrs ago garage floor was sinking to one side. Finally called TerraFirma. What they did was amazing. lifted the floor as much as 4 inches in one section. As work was going on he explained what was happening with each step as I watched curiously. The wife was very reluctant to have them come now says we should have sooner. Even the patio door at the end of the garage works correctly now too.

With a water floored basement, we contacted Terra Firma to locate the water source which they did in no time. They explained, in detail, what would be done to fix the problem and went to work. They were respectful of our furnishings covering to protect them from limited dust. They were professional and the project was completed on time. We are very satisfied with the end result, quality of workmanship, and price. We would recommend them for foundation work of any type.

The floor in our shop is nice and level that the door closes so nicely. before the door would not close at all. This is the second time that TerraFirma has helped us out of a sunken floor!

System Design Specialist, Kristy Young, was phenomenal to work with! She was thorough and a true professional. Kristy was able to bring plans to her team which resulted in a substantial cost savings versus competitors. Other competitors wanted us to remove main sewer line and displace our new electrical panel when in fact the wall stabilizer was able to fit behind due to it's sleek, thin carbon armor material! Kristy is beyond exceptional and I can't recommend her enough!

These guys were fantastic! Luis Juarez and his team did an amazing job. We had minimal disruption, and the job site was kept clean at all times. The resulting stability of the building is great. They were responsive to our questions, courteous at all times, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Kudos to Riley, a TerraFirma System Design Specialist. Riley is a smart guy. Honest and communicative. He's focused on problem-solving instead of just selling products. You don't find that skill very often these days. I had an excellent experience getting a crawlspace encapsulation estimate from him.

We called TerraFirma with a pretty significant problem. We had just purchased a home and were a bit misled on a couple of items. The basement and crawlspace were mold infested (which we did know). What we did not know was that at times of the year, there would be some standing water in the crawlspace. We also didn't know that the drain from the sump pump was actually underwater (adjacent lake), nor did we know the pool backflushed into that same line and actually would enter the crawlspace whenever that process occured. The crawlspace was unvented and unconditioned....the perfect storm of BAD! Our goal was to first remediate the mold and then resolve the issues that allowed the mold to grow in the first place. Enter Terra Firma. Tulane and Terra Firma stood head and shoulders above every other company I spoke with. It wasn't jus that they were going to fix it- we literally walked through every step and every product-I knew what I was buying before we started. The crew was professional, on time and did exactly what they said they would do and in the time frame promised. With Terra Firma, we waterproofed and encapsulated our crawlspace, we insulated the crawlspace, we installed new sub floor drainage with new sump pumps with battery backup to lower the water table under the house (that now drains above the high water line), we installed new structural floor posts where others had rotted, we installed a bypass for the pool overflow and we installed dehumidification and we are in the process of now conditioning the space. Terra Firma led the way and did an excellent job both on the communication and on the installation (at the price originally quoted!). I would highly recommend this firm for anyone with complex and challenging crawlspace issues. Great work and fantastic team from start to finish!

Wait was a bit long but when they finally got started (1 week early) the guys were on time, conscientious, professional, and the work was great. The weather was cold and wet but they kept at it with very little breaks.
Highly recommend.

Failed to clean up after the job our only concern. We had to have a cleaning service come. Terra Firma paid for it.

They provided a whole new drainage system with new vapor barrier and leveled our mobile home. I found them to be highly professional, extremely conscientious and thorough. They explained everything to me and made sure I understood and felt comfortable with whatever they were doing. I would highly recommend them if you are needing the same type of service.

Travis and his crew did an excellent job. They were out here and started the day they said, and they finished the following week on the day they said. They kept me informed throughout the project as well as every morning they put down (new) protective plastic in the house where they had to go through and picked it up every night. They did one heck of a job and now I have no worries about water under my house. FYI, the electrical is completed and now all I can do is smile when I hear a Pump kick on. Thanks

Terra Firma Foundations did an excellent job encapsulating my Vancouver home’s crawl space: is now now clean, well-insulated, rodent-free and moisture-free. The crew was absolutely OUTSTANDING: Jorge Valencia plus Juan and Manuel. They worked in very cramped space with many obstacles (ductwork) to maneuver around, and they were skilled, efficient and a pleasure to work with. Five stars for the company and the crew. .

A great company to deal with

So I had Jorge as a Forman with Juan, Manuel, Kevin, Zach, and Daniel.
First off, Jorge did an excellent job of communicating the process, explaining materials he was using, and setting up the sump online system with my wife (it was the first time he'd installed this particular sump, so the set up was new to him as well).
Secondly, When he was done, even though it was Friday night and I know he wanted to get back home, he chatted with my wife and I and was very pleasant and positive. I believe he said he's been there for four years and also said it was a great company to work for. I also work in the construction industry and was generally curious about the company. I could tell he was sincere.
Lastly, To say they worked hard was an extreme understatement; they had to haul in by hand 5 gallon buckets of concrete and haul out all the jackhammering they did to get the foundation flood protection as well as the sump set. No standing around. No cell phone use. Just solid work. Jorge's crew was friendly enough, but they were no-nonsense and left the up front communication to him.

The cost wasn't cheap, but we went with Terra Firma strictly on reputation. We live about 75 miles out of PDX, and to get the job done, they sent out an additional crew for a crucial piece of the work. I would say, despite the cost (and it's not like they were ripping me off, it was just a costly project), I got my money's worth based on what I saw from the labor intensity. I really can't believe how much they did in such little time. They said "one day", and by God they made it happen. They had to hammer out approximately a 75' long, 8" wide by 10" deep trench along the inner concrete foundation of my house, hammer out and install a sump, then core out, install and set a discharge conduit about 12 feet outside of my house. Not a small task for a day's work.

My only nitpick would be there was a small amount of dust left over from the work, despite the very elaborate taping and containment plastic they used (which was a LOT). They did great of taping everything and covering floors, etc. I was concerned about silica, and Jorge told me they would use a vacuum shroud for the hammering process, which I assume was done, but was not at home for that phase of the process. My wife has asthma, so dust is our nemesis!

This is one of those projects that you hope you don't have to use (flood prevention), but a small part of me wants to have water trickle in to see the efficacy of the work. Time will tell!
Until then, thank you Jorge and crew for kicking some ass, and getting a good tackle on our flood prevention!

The crew at the Vancouver, TerraFirma did a great job!! Jacob Iltis did a great job presenting several options to resolve the crawl space issues, the main focus was on a bouncy floor and we opted to install a new beam with screw jacks. Jorge Valencia and his crew, Juan and Manuel did a great job installing the beam and screw jacks. They communicated exactly what was going to happen and when. They put flooring protection down and did a nice job at cleaning up at the end. I highly recommend TerraFirma and the crew of Jorge, Juan and Manuel to get the job done. TerraFirma will be my first call if I have anymore issues.

Jorge Juan and Manuel We’re amazing to work with. They were out here when they said they would and worked hard each day and did impeccable work. They are very polite, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They walked me through each step of the way as I had a sump pump installed in my crawl space. I was extremely happy with the results. They were very meticulous, and cleaned up as they went.

Installers were very professional. I asked for a few areas to be filled farther They made adjustments in areas that I asked gladly. I would recommend TerraFirm Foundation Systems to others. My back was out, the guys removed items from side of the house. Please give the installation team our thanks

TerraFirma did a great job with the earthquake update on our home. They were friendly and performed the work in the time expected and at the agreed cost.

From the point of the initial call for an estimate to the time of service, we have been impressed with the level of profession service and caring. Every communication has been thorough and reassuring, always answering questions completely. Dan, the estimator, was outstanding, fully explaining how the project would address our issues and the steps to expect. Tyler and John, who worked on the project, were also exceptional. Their salesman Sam came out to my property and did a great job answering any and all questions I had. He was very detailed and knowledgeable. He showed us a very cool informational video that gave me a lot more understanding of his scope of work. He was professional and polite. Would highly recommend!

We had two companies come and provide evaluations of our foundation repair needs. TerraFirma was by far the most professional and responsive company. In the end we did not go with the lowest bid but we did go with the company that provided the most professional response and gave use the most confidence it would be done right. We were not disappointed 🙂
